Dirty Biter's Park

This random park lies in the heart of downtown La Conner and provides the perfect place to chill by the channel. Dirty Biter Park is a great place to eat any snacks you buy from the nearby shops.

The park is named after a dog from the 70s, who gained notoriety in town because of his broken jaw and him consistently getting into fights. There's a statue in the park that you can get a quick snapshot of.

Magnus Anderson
Log Cabin

La Conner Ice Cream Tower

Lincoln Theater

The Lincoln Theater is an ornate, historic place. Originally a vaudeville/silent movie house in Mount Vernon, it's been restored for modern day shows. The owners have added updated movie theater screens and an improved sound system, but kept much of the original decor.

Fun, locally-developed shows are held throughout the year. If you want to see the artistic skill of our community, this is a great place to see it.

Goat Island

Just a short kayak trip away from La Conner lies Goat Island—the home of Fort Whitman. If you want secluded history combined with a fun journey, then this attraction is a must. You'll need to rent a kayak (or bring your own) to make the journey across part of Skagit Bay. When you land on the beach of Goat Island, you'll eventually be able to find a path to an isolated WWII Fort. Remnants there can still be found today.
